2019/20 SEASON

EXPLORE NEW WORLDS. DISCOVER YOUR OWN.

This season, we are thrilled to announce we are 10 years BOLD!

For the past decade, we’ve circled the globe to bring you works that challenge, dazzle, and provoke. On stage and on screen, in our downtown venues and in neighborhoods all over Greater Boston, our goal has been to inspire connection across our differences and discover all we have in common.

On stage, we’re offering 10 titles for our 10th season from six countries. Five are returning audience favorites from the first nine seasons that reveal the path we’ve traveled so far. The other five are new commissions making their debuts on the international touring circuit that set the table for another decade of bold, international programming. On screen, we're offering a bold mix of stage-to-screen films featuring acclaimed actors in unforgettable roles, documentary and artist residency films co-presented with community partners, and some of Boston's most inclusive film festivals. In the neighborhoods, we have a series of initiatives that make theatre accessible and affordable to broader, more diverse audiences in Boston, and are dedicated to reaching people and communities that have traditionally been ignored or not welcomed.
